The Exhaust Lyrics tee pays tribute to one of the unsung heroes of the Golden Era: the Honda Accord. Inspired by the iconic yellow Neuspeed Touring Car, this design combines Dennis Caco’s automotive artwork with graffiti influences from the streets of San Diego in the 1990s. The graffiti “Lyrics” across the back celebrates the symphony of a high-revving Honda engine and the unmistakable sound of VTEC crossover.

A Message from the Artist — Dennis Caco

“Hey — they say Accords get ‘no love,’ but here is the second design in this collection that had the Accord featured prominently. In this case, the Accord was heavily inspired by one of the prominent race cars at the time, the bright yellow Honda Accord Neuspeed Touring Car (look it up if you don’t know what it is).

I have a bit of street background, as I grew up in one of the not-so-swanky parts of San Diego — so just like a lot of my peers, graffiti artwork was the rage at the time. (And yes, I almost cried when Ramo died in Beat Street.)

So, the graffiti in the background of this design says “Lyrics,” which describes the symphony coming out of the tailpipe of a high-revving Honda engine.

Honda fans love the sound — and especially the VTEC crossover.

Additionally, this shirt is Yellow — normally not my first choice. But again, in the 1990’s this color was also hugely popular, so I thought it would be appropriate to re-release it on a Yellow tee like it was originally offered.”

Originally released in the late 90s on a yellow tee, this reissue stays true to its roots while honoring a piece of tuner history. Printed on heavyweight cotton with a classic fit and chest SGR Golden Era logo, it’s designed to last as long as the memories it represents.
