The Drag Triad design was a turning point for SGR. First released in the 1990s, it marked the brand’s leap from tuner shops into major retail — helping introduce Honda car culture to a wider audience. Featuring three iconic Hondas lined up beneath a fierce chrome dragon, this artwork represents both the creativity of the scene and the determination it took to bring it to life.

Illustrated by Dennis Caco, founder of SGR and Autocannon, the original piece was created using early versions of Photoshop — long before digital art was common in apparel. Each highlight, reflection, and detail was painstakingly built by hand, with only one undo available at a time. Printed with advanced “index separations” that pushed the limits of screen printing, Drag Triad set a new bar for automotive apparel in the 90s.

Today, it returns as part of the SGR Classics Collection, faithfully reproduced on a premium black tee. The front features a clean “SGR Golden Era Original” chest print, while the back carries the full dragon-and-Honda artwork with an official Honda logo hit.
